Manuel Antonio National Park is the second most visited park in Costa Rica and from Jaco and Los Suenos is only one hour drive, this tour combines beautiful white sand beaches and lots of wildlife.
Also on the way you will pass by rice fields and palm tree plantation, Manuel Antonio was listed by Forbes among the world’s 12 most beautiful National Parks. Several reasons for this such as the long stretches of white sand beaches and lush foliage among great mountains and forest, or because of the biodiversity of wildlife.
Both Brown-throated three-toed sloth and Hoffmann’s two-toed sloth are major features, also three of Costa Rica’s four Monkey species are found at Manuel Antonio and always coming out to play – or steal your food! There are over 100 mammal species — including three of Costa Rica’s four monkey species — and over 200 bird species, including the fiery-billed aracari and mangrove hummingbird.
Manuel Antonio is the smallest park in Costa Rica, but abundant with wildlife. Capuchin, Howler, and Squirrel Monkeys are some of the most social creatures in the park. You can also expect to see sloths, iguanas, agoutis just to name a few.
