Hanging Bridges La Fortuna Tour
Description
This is a full day tour sampling the best excursions in the Arenal area.
First we begin your Arenal Combo Tour with a journey to the hanging bridges which consists of a hike on a 1.9 mile (3.1 km) trail, during the hike you will explore the rainforests flora and fauna. The trail crosses nine fixed bridges and six suspension bridges and is laid out at a maximum grade of seven degrees so it is easily accesible. Our next stop is the La Fortuna Waterfall.
From the trailhead you will hike approximately 15 minutes before reaching this majestic waterfall where you can swim or just enjoy its beauty. After enjoying a refreshing swim beneath the cascading waterfalls, we serve up a typical Costa Rican lunch.
Next we embark on a educational hike with your guide to the Arenal Volcano, during the hike your guide will provide interesting historical and geological formation of the area and the regeneration of flora since the last volcano eruption.
We conclude the combo tour with some much needed rest and relaxation at the Tabacon Hot Springs, followed by a buffet dinner.
