Itinerary
Day 1 — Jaco
A warm and sunny welcome to Costa Rica! Your flight arrives at Juan Santamaría International Airport. After passing through immigration and customs, you will meet one of our local representatives and begin your journey to Jaco Beach.
Day 2 — Jaco
Jaco Costa Rica is known as a surfer town and is with a 5 minutes’ drive from Playa Hermosa. Jaco has great night life, incredible restaurants and is home to the famous Los Suenos Marriot Resort and Casino. Also, a very famous spot for incredible sport fishing, the Marina at Los Suenos regularly host championships that attract fisherman from all over the world.
Jaco has a diverse amount of options for accommodations as well, from large 17-bedroom luxury villas to eco lodges. The diversity of Jaco is what attracts tourists each year, there is something here for everyone.
On day 2 you will be enjoying one of the most famous and unique tours in the area. A sailing catamaran will be taking you to a secluded beach, accessible solely by water. You will enjoy a beach BBQ, water activities, an open tiki bar and sailing.
Day 3 — Jaco
Enjoy zip lining through the jungle on our highest rated canopy tour in Jaco.
Day 4 — Jaco
Today is your day to enjoy and explore Jaco, there are also plenty of optional tours such as atv and waterfalls, or sport fishing charters that we can recommend. We highly recommend taking a hike to view the abandoned restaurant that overlooks Jaco called the Mirador, once in a lifetime photo!
Day 5 — Monteverde
Today we will be travelling from Jaco to the Monteverde Cloud forest region of Costa Rica. Cloud Forests account for 1% of the forests in the world and Costa Rica has one of the most densely protected cloud forests in the world. Be prepared for the temperature change, the high altitude can sometimes be rainy and chilly. Pack a rain coat and warmer clothing and do not forget your hiking shoes.
Day 6 — Monteverde
Today we will be exploring the Sky Walk in the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Sky Walk is a journey through the top of the cloud forest on suspension bridges complete with trails, suspension bridges, tram and tarzan swing.
Day 7 — San Jose
Transfer to San Jose for your flight home.
