Day 1 — San Jose

A warm and sunny welcome to Costa Rica! Your flight arrives at Juan Santamaría International Airport. After passing through immigration and customs, you will meet one of our local representatives and begin your stay in Costa Rica with one night in San Jose.

Day 2 — Monteverde

Today departing early to for a beautiful drive to the forest in the clouds, Monteverde. The region of Monteverde is one of the most unique eco systems in Costa Rica and is home countless wildlife species, including jaguars, ocelots and the colorfully plumed resplendent quetzal. The town of Monteverde was settled by the Quakers who immigrated from America and started an organic farming and natural energy movement.

Day 3 — Monteverde

Today enjoy a guided tour exploring the beauty of one of the rarest forests in the world, the cloud forest. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve was established in 1972 and initially covered some 810 acres (328 ha) of forested land. The Monteverde Cloud Forest reserve currently protects over 35,089 acres (14,200 ha) and encompasses eight life zones atop the Continental Divide. There are over 100 species of mammals, 400 species of birds, and 1,200 species of amphibians and reptiles living within its bounds. It’s one of the few remaining habitats that support all six species of the cat family – jaguars, ocelots, pumas, oncillas, margays, and jaguarundis – as well as the endangered three-wattled bellbird and resplendent quetzal. Over 8 miles (13 km) of trails are available for you to explore with your professional guide, your guide will provide education of the different wild life and flora and fauna along your journey.

Day 4 — Jaco

Departing after breakfast down the pacific coast to the touristy surf and fishing town of Jaco Beach. You will pass the Tarcoles River famous for having the most crocodile inhabitants per kilometer in the world. You will also pass Carara National Park which is a natural migration route for scarlett macaws and several other bird species.

Day 5 — Jaco

On Day 5 in Jaco beach you will board the brand new Sealounge Catamaran for a sunset cruise. Sailing to a secluded tropical beach paradise for a professional chef prepared lunch along with open bar, white sand, and beach loungers. Locally sourced, organic and handmade ingredients in all cocktails and menu items on board.

Day 6 — Manuel Antonio

Today is a great day to explore the town, check out the various beaches like Playa Hermosa, Esterillos and Punta Leona. Feeling adventurous? Take a day trip to the beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park and beach.

Day 7 — San Jose

We are sad you have to leave! Today departing for the airport in San Jose for your flight home.
