El Chorro Rafting Manuel Antonio Tour
Description
On this adventure tour experience rafting The Naranjo river in Manuel Antonio, The Naranjo River is a Class III / IV half day challenge for more experienced paddlers.
The Naranjo river is located along the southern border of Manuel Antonio National Park. The section we run goes from the town of Villanueva in the mountains to the Llamaron Bridge on the road from Quepos to Dominical. On these 6 miles of whitewater we will run rapids like "La Pinata", "El Cesar" & "Robin Hood".
This river drops steeply from the coastal mountain range above Quepos, through a beautiful jungle gorge, and takes you on a wild ride to sea level passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations.
The river banks are overgrown with jungle and the canyon walls meet the water at 90 degree angles. The whitewater, jungle, canyon, and sky make for an unforgettable day. For the advanced rafter, this is an exciting and refreshing ride through the Naranjo Canyon. Unlike the Savegre River Adventure, the Naranjo River Rafting Trip packs all its punches in a 7 mile ride that keeps your adrenaline level high for several hours. Water levels can rise rapidly on this Costa Rican treasure of a river, especially during the rainy season (May-October), which definitely brings the difficulty level up for any experienced rafter. As well, if you are a first time paddler who welcomes a challenge and is looking for the excitement of big waves, hydraulics, and stunning scenery, then this whitewater rafting trip is for you!
